Our experience with Girl Boss Chess has been nothing short of absolutely phenomenal. We met Ingrid online over the 1st lockdown and she quickly managed to capture our 5yr old's attention and introduce her to the magical world of Kings & Queens and the dynamics of the pieces on the board. Words cannot begin to describe the joy Girl Boss Chess brings to our daughter. She looks forward to weekly homework, asks for more, begs to attend Chess Playground Tournaments on Sundays and is always looking forward to her weekly class. The staff is simply fantastic: dedicated, nurturing, engaging and simply put: PASSIONATE. We have had the honour of having Ingrid and Stella teach us but cannot wait to meet the rest of the team! I signed my 5 year old daughter up for the spring break camp just grateful she would have something to do. I had no idea her teacher, the platform and the course would be so engaging, educational and fun! She loved it so much that she asked to continue with classes and is signed up for level 1! I was very impressed with her teacher who had the perfect approach and communication style for children! She now talks about pawns, rooks and queens regularly throughout the day :) My husband and I were also engrossed with the fascinating history of chess thrown into the class, so much so that I think I will sign up for adult classes.
