Who are you as an organization?
Hive5 innovative center offers year-round STEAM-based hands-on programs for girls and boys ages 5 to 15. Indoor-outdoor STEAM Summer camp is a fun learning for curious campers who love Science, Art, Engineering, Technology, and Cooking. Our day camp program is an engaging environment for kids to explore and create new skills, gain confidence, and have fun with new friends.

"Why us?
Hive5 is a place where your child can learn and have fun in a safe environment. Hive5 is a place not just for having fun and learning, it’s a place for learning social skills and it’s a place that is not just focused on one or two activities. Hive5 o a variety of STEAM-based hands-on programs and give the kids an opportunity to experience, make mistakes, make themself dirty and learn from their mistakes. Here at Hive5 we are not looking for the result as we make the learning process fun and engaging and we enjoy with them the process, not the result.

"Hive5 kids was founded in 2018 by two passionate scientists/artists friends who had a dream to make an open area for children to learn the elaborate concept of science as enjoyable as doing art. They started their business as a mobile center and held different weekend workshops in Art, science and engineering under ArTS workshop series. In 2019 the new Hive5 was born in Aurora as an after school and Art classes. In 2021 during the Ontario shut down Hive5 innovative center for kids opened at a 2000 square foot center in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada."

Hive5 offers camps, classes, workshops, and birthday parties using coding, robotics, engineering, arts, science, and other innovative hands-on subjects. We teach kids how to use critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, collaboration and communication skills and equip them with skills, knowledge, and confidence to follow their curiosities towards a brighter future. From learning to draw and make a masterpiece artwork on canvas to coding new applications, our programs encourage students to think critically to create solutions that improve their communities and make the world better to live in.

Creativity, curiosity, critical thinking—these are the skills parents want to foster in their children. At Hive5 Child Learning and Creative Center, anything is possible. With so many activities to keep busy minds fulfilled, Hive5’s goals are to engage kids, let them explore, and help them gain confidence. All of the activities are hands-on STEAM-based, where kids will learn all about STEAM and develop related skills. Their mission is never the result—it is the process. Did kids take risks? Did they make mistakes? Did they learn from those mistakes? And did they come up with solutions? Hive5 was founded by two friends with science and art backgrounds who wanted to make learning about science and art enjoyable. They do this by having friendly staff, engaging activities, and an environment that feels like fun and not learning. Kids go home showing off their new creations and excited to wake up and go back again the next day.
