What makes a soccer program go from good to great is the coaches. At IFC Soccer, the coaches are skilled, knowledgeable, professional, and committed. The organization is well-run, with parents always in the know of how well their kids are doing, and what they need to work on. IFC Soccer applies the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) methodology to its program, but all aspects of the program are designed to improve player skill. Many players from this program have accomplished some lofty goals, including competing with European soccer clubs and pursuing careers in soccer. While kids work hard at IFC Soccer and are challenged consistently, there is a ton of fun to be had. Skills are learned through hard and deliberate play, and friendly competition with peers only makes for better friendships. Their Grassroots program starts kids off in soccer, getting a head start on developing their abilities and to love soccer. From there, the programs get more challenging and high performance, and exposure to professional clubs, academies, and academic institutions is possible.

Giuseppe Mattace Raso, Technical Director
UEFA A Licensed
International FC was born in 2009 with a simple goal, to faithfully apply the Italian Soccer Federation (FIGC) methodology on Canadian players in a bid to expose these players to prestigious international and professional experiences.
Through our Academy programs as well as our IFC Grassroots and IFC Camps your child will have access to highly qualified coaches led by myself, a UEFA A Technical Director. Each aspect of our soccer programming is designed to enhance your child’s soccer skill all while promoting a fun and inclusive environment.
Thanks to our methods, for over a decade, our players have been able to achieve astonishing goals by competing with international soccer clubs such as AFC Ajax, Atletico Madrid, Schalke 04, Cologne, Wolfsburg, Brescia, Livorno, Spezia, and Frosinone. Moreover, many of our players have also gone on to pursue soccer careers at the collegiate level as well.
Despite the obstacles that many of us have faced in the past two years, we at IFC remained committed to providing our members the best possible soccer experience. We have been working closely with Ontario Soccer and the York Region Soccer Association and are following all health and safety guidelines as we kick off the start of a new era for our club.
I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about what makes IFC so special. I am truly proud of our reputation as one of Ontario’s most reputable soccer academies and cannot wait to welcome you and your child into the IFC family.
