KidStrong Vaughan Camps are a fun, high-energy program that helps kids become strong, confident, and high-character individuals. Built on KidStrong’s proven, science-based training, the camp blends physical activity with mental development to strengthen both mind and body in a supportive environment.
Each week includes KidStrong classes focused on confidence, resilience, teamwork, and leadership, plus hands-on STEAM activities that spark creativity and problem-solving, and encourage self-expression and imagination. KidStrong Camp supports whole-child growth while helping kids make friends and leave feeling proud, capable, and confident.

Meet the Staff
Director's Message
KidStrong was founded in 2015 by Matt and Megin Sharp in Lexington, Kentucky, for their daughter Ella. Their goal was to make her stronger and more confident. This simple goal led them to partner with child development experts and create a unique curriculum focused on the critical skills kids need to succeed.
Our goal at KidStrong is to help kids build strong bodies, confident minds, and independent spirits. Through structured, coach-led programs, KidStrong focuses on developing physical skills, social-emotional growth, and life skills that set children up for success both in and out of class. Ultimately, it’s about empowering kids to believe in themselves and reach their full potential!

Our camp is led by a highly trained, experienced team that truly cares about every child. Our staff participates in ongoing weekly training to continuously grow and improve, and campers absolutely love them. Many of our coaches have been with us since we opened in March 2025, creating a consistent, supportive environment where kids feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.
