From Seed to Table: Junior Intensive

Students will spend their mornings on LCS’ own Northcote Farm, learning about the process of food production through authentic hands-on learning experiences. Students will roll up their sleeves and dig in the dirt, learn about the critters that help keep the soil healthy, harvest and clean vegetables, learn elements of the business of running a farm, and much more. In the afternoons, students will learn culinary skills and make meals that will be donated to local food groups using the fresh produce from Northcote farm, in addition to having the opportunity to sample some of their creations.
