The Trusted Source for Families since 1998
Since 2018 - Our students will work with experienced teachers and staff specializing in the musical theatre industry. Specializing in the arts of acting, singing, and dance. We understand how important the ARTS can be to the development of our students. It builds self-confidence, team-work, inspires creativity, and imagination.
Your Little Star will learn, through an engaging experience, all aspects of theatre and its structure. Beginning with that first audition to the final show’s bow. No matter your child’s level of ability each Little Star will develop their skills in all areas of performance to become the emerging artist they are meant to be. This program not only instills the creative process, but also offers important personal and educational benefits. These benefits allow each performer time to improve communication and to build teamwork by learning from one another, while developing distinctive artistic expressions. This exploration and collaboration in theatre imbues a high sense of self-esteem that will carry them through all life stages.

Little Star Productions is committed to providing your "Little Star" with the opportunity to develop a more in depth theatre training experience, in a safe environment while working with teaching educators in the performing arts industry. Our program offers everyone the opportunity to engage, express their creative side, make new friends who share a common interest, while building self-confidence. All of this is done during the creative development process of musical theatre productions. At the end of our 14 week program, students will have the opportunity to show-off their hard work and present in front of live audience.

Little Star camps and after-school programs give kids a creative, confidence-building performing arts experience. Experienced educators and theatre professionals teach all the fundamentals of musical theatre: acting, singing, voice, dance, character work, and collaboration with an ensemble. It’s rooted in founder Paul Louie’s 25-plus years of experience in theatre, mainly as a producer, with over 100 productions under his belt. His own kids have caught the performance bug, as yours will, too. After-school classes introduce kids as young as 4 to the stage, offering structured training throughout the school year. Summer camps let middle and high school kids spend all day immersed in stage arts, including playwriting and set design. Each camp becomes a community. Practice and imaginative play culminate in performances you’ll love. Parents are surprised and delighted with campers’ exponential growth through their time at Little Star.
The Little Star team has well over 150+ years of combined performance experience, both off stage and on, as well as professional and community theatre backgrounds. But what sets us apart from other youth performing arts programs is our resident Ontario Certified Teacher in Theatrical Musical Arts to oversee that the Little Star curriculum is in line with the Ontario Ministry of Education.
