The Trusted Source for Families since 1998
Messy Pants Summer Camps are premium, full-day art camps for children ages 5–12. Our Don Mills studio delivers exceptional, professionally designed art programming using high-quality materials and thoughtfully planned projects that build confidence and creativity. Campers explore painting, sculpture, mixed media and creative design in a structured environment. We also offer Art Plus experiences in Willowdale, Leaside and Bedford Park, blending our signature art focus with dynamic themed programming. We’ve proudly operated in Ontario for 15 years, with seven in Don Mills. Camps run 9:00 AM–3:30 PM daily.
Messy Pants is known for delivering elevated, premium art experiences where creativity is taken seriously and children are treated like real artists. What makes us special is our commitment to exceptional materials, professionally designed projects, and a structured environment that balances imagination with skill-building. Our philosophy centres on confidence through creation — when children produce work they’re truly proud of, their self-belief grows. We value respect, high standards, and joyful engagement. We are most proud of the community we’ve built and the lasting creative confidence our campers carry with them long after summer ends.

Registration at Messy Pants is simple and stress-free. Families sign up online, and camps open months in advance so parents can plan ahead. Every week includes hands-on art, so we always remind families to “dress for mess” and send children in clothes that can get paint on them. There are no special requirements — just a readiness to create and have fun. While we do not offer refunds, cancellations receive a 100% studio credit valid for any program that year or the following year. Our team is responsive, welcoming, and happy to help families every step of the way.
Get a range of perspectives to understand the day-to-day experience, the program quality, and the skills and personal growth kids gain. Star ratings are calculated from verified written reviews only.
Messy Pants Inc.’s summer camps and after-school programs deliver exactly what the name promises: colourful, creative, joyfully messy experiences where kids experiment freely and let their imaginations run wild. Hosted at multiple Toronto-area locations, camps and programs combine hands-on artmaking with playful themes and high-energy activities that keep campers engaged all week. Camps vary from art-focused programming in The Studio, where kids dive deep into art, to Party Pants and Camp Chaos, where, as implied, things get a little more joyfully messy, with creative movement and activity thrown into the mix. Messy Pants is a liberating setting for kids. They can truly unleash their energy in ways that are creative and experimental, with just the right amount of structure to the day. For many kids, it becomes a favourite, their go-to activity that families end up committing to for years on end. Kids develop their creativity, and they’re often proud of their Messy Pants projects, displaying them at home or in their room.
Our staff are practicing artists and experienced educators, carefully selected for their ability to blend creative excellence with strong leadership skills. Many are studying art at the post-secondary level or actively working in the arts, while also bringing meaningful experience working with children. Campers remember the personal connections most — our team knows them by name, works one-on-one, and builds real relationships. We maintain low ratios of 6:1 to ensure individual attention. With strong staff retention and many returning instructors year after year, families enjoy consistency, mentorship, and a trusted camp environment.
