It's a tall ship year in the St Lawrence River and Great Lakes with the Tall Ships Challenge - Great Lakes 2019. Fair Jeanne, the 110' sail training vessel operated by Bytown Brigantine will be part of an impressive fleet including Bluenose II, the Navy's Oriole, Santa Maria, Picton Castle and Pride of Baltimore, to name a few.
Ports include Toronto - Buffalo - Cleveland - Bay City - Green Bay - Kenosha - Midland - Sarnia - Kingsville - Erie and Brockville. Not all ships visit each port so check with port festival organizers or Tall Ships America to see who will visit a port near you.
Youth 14-18 years of age are welcome to join the crew of Fair Jeanne for this excellent summer of adventure. We offer two 22-day high school credit voyages which include some of these ports, as well as a 12-day sailing adventure in Georgian Bay.
