Imagine Architecture at Carleton University's School of Architecture is a summer career exploratory program for high school students interested in architecture, design, and urbanism. The program is for now accepting registrations for one-week workshops, both on-campus and online.
Why Imagine Architecture?
A Carleton University Experience
Imagine Architecture provides a fun and intensive introduction to design for high school students in a university setting. Students may be considering applying to university programs in architecture or other disciplines, which require design thinking. They’ll turn ideas into thought-provoking work with LABs that emphasize hands-on learning and experimentation.
Portfolio Preparation
Students will acquire skills to help them build a portfolio for any design program in Canada. They’ll learn best practices for developing a successful university application portfolio.
Talented Instructors
Courses are led by a diverse group of passionate, talented, and caring instructors who provide tailored feedback to foster each student’s creative advancement. The faculty member responsible for the architecture school’s undergraduate program is the academic coordinator.
Choice of Format
Interact with your instructor and classmates in LAB 101, 102 or 103 on campus or take part in online learning and discussion in LAB 101-Online.
