The Imagine Architecture program for high school students has a few spots available for LAB 102 on campus at Carleton University.
It takes place from Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21. Tuition is $700 + HST and includes daily lunch and all art supplies.
LAB 102 introduces students to essential digital skills used in architectural design.
They will learn how to build geometric models with Rhino 3D and refine a compelling project using industry-standard Adobe Creative Cloud software. These geometric models offer an opportunity to explore more advanced fabrication and physical model-making techniques.
Participants will learn proper workflow to move between conceptual ideas, modeling, and visualization programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with the aim of using Adobe InDesign to construct professional portfolio pages.
"I had a wonderful experience with Imagine Architecture," says a 2022 participant. "All three labs that I took were interesting and were taught perfectly."
