Academic Camp Canada is based in the beautiful oceanfront campus of Brentwood College School on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.
Our camp is an inspiring and challenging academic summer programme for International and Canadian students aged 12 to 18, who love to learn and discover. The school has modern classrooms, excellent sports facilities and comfortable boarding, all on one spectacular campus on the Pacific Ocean.
The academic programme is offering 30 hours of progressive learning per week in small groups with a maximum class size of 15 students. Students aged 12 to 14 will explore and discover the full range of academic subject areas including English, mathematics, general science, the arts, social studies and social sciences. Students aged 15 to 18 will follow their own individual timetable that we will create for them based on their choices from 14 different subjects including academic French, art, business, sciences and computer science (this includes computer programming, robotics and phone app development).
Our exciting and vibrant leisure programme will develop students´ leadership skills, support them to become more confident and make friends from all over the world. Students will enjoy cultural visits to Vancouver and Victoria, activities on campus such as paddle boarding, rowing and experiencing something different like whale watching.
Our course will start on Saturday 21st July 2018 and finish on Saturday 11th August 2018 – The closest airport is Vancouver or Victoria.
