- Bookings open in October but we are happy to take last-minute bookings if there is space

Director's Message
We have been a pioneer in offering academic camps since our inception in the UK in 2008. In the future world of technology and artificial intelligence (AI), students need human skills that are not easily replicated by machines, such as creativity, problem-solving, adaptability, ethical awareness, emotional self-regulation, teamwork, and critical thinking - We help develop these essential skills for their future studies in a global community that is learner-centred.
For all students, whether they are a local or they travel to New Brunswick, it is an amazing adventure - learning and socialising with people from all over the world. Whether English is students' first language or not, they will significantly improve their English proficiency as an international language.
In 2017 we launched ACC Academic Camp Canda, as Canada was fast becoming the top location in the world for study abroad. We love the friendly Canadian welcome and our academic camps in Canada provide a very special destination providing an amazing opportunity for students who join us.
What is important to me as the CEO is to offer the following:
caring and experienced staff - my management team, camp counsellors & teachers
child protection (all staff have background checks), First Aid and health & safety are all very important
individual approach and you go home with a report, a leadership qualification and certificates
an amazing location with a great host school and good food
quality camps that keeps you busy and gives you a great time of learning, trips and activities
a camp that challenges, inspires giving you lots of fun, experiences and adventure
In the UK we are BAC accreditated and in our last inspection report in 2022 the inspectors gave us no action points or recommendations. We are very proud of this and we bring these values and experience to our Canadian academic camps.Staff and Counsellors
Staff have a profound impact on the experience of the campers. Through their expertise, enthusiasm, support, and guidance, they create an environment that fosters learning, growth, and personal development. The management team are well qualified and experienced in managing and developing educational provisions.
Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields, their passions creates an engaging and intellectually stimulating environment for the students. Our counsellors are hand-picked to provide mentorship, guidance, and encouragement to campers, helping them develop confidence, resilience, and life skills that extend beyond the camp experience. -

More details about property: In London we are a city center location with boarding, classrooms, restaurant and social space.
DLD College is a purpose-built, modern boarding school. Everything is under one roof, eliminating the need for commuting and ensuring your safety. Our campus features:

In Bristol: Sidcot School offers a comprehensive range of facilities which enrich your summer experience. The campus includes an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a sports hall, playing fields, a library, and an Art Centre equipped with Music, Drama and Art classrooms. The Sidcot Hub, a coffee shop, is the perfect place to unwind; for those who love horse riding, the stables provide a unique opportunity to indulge in this activity right on the campus. Plus, you'll savour various delicious, homemade meals in the modern dining rooms. Campus-wide Wi-Fi keeps you connected throughout your stay,Is your property accessible for persons with disabilities? More details about accommodations: In London rooms are single ensuite.
In Bristol, all bedrooms accommodate 2–4 people and have shared bathrooms.
Boarding houses, School House Boys, School House Girls, Newcombe, Coombe and Wing are all on campus. Most bedrooms are for two or three students in each room, though there are some rooms for four students and some single rooms. Roommates are thoughtfully paired based on age and language spoken to foster English practice and cross-cultural friendships. Our single rooms are generally assigned to students aged 16 plus, and are allocated on a first-come basis. Shared bathrooms are standard. The bedrooms are cosy and comfortable, and there are lounges and kitchens in each boarding house for students to relax and connect with new friends after a day filled with exciting camp activities.Are meals provided? Yes. We provide our students at all locations with a varied and well-balanced full-board meal plan (three meals per day). The menu is designed to accommodate food allergies, intolerances, individual dietary needs and reasonable student preferences. Halal, vegetarian and vegan options are also available. If you are interested in a specific type of menu or have particular dietary requirements, please feel free to reach out to us.
Is Academic Summer Camps technology free? Our students learn how to use IT in curriculum subjects to enhance their learning. This is my 6th year at Academic Camp – this time I stayed in London. It is very good programme - studies combined with having a lot of fun. There are rules, but it is because they need you to keep safe, but there is enough freedom as well. You get to know London well.

'I loved the trips' at Academic Summer Bristol
I studied a selection of subjects including science, maths, humanities and art. I loved the trips, particularly the Bristol Science Museum and the activities – football and fencing. Fencing I watch in TV in Italy, but this was first time I was fencing myself. Watching it it feels simple, but doing it was much harder.
