Very beautiful experience. A great combination of studying and having fun.
Before I came I felt a bit nervous as it was all new to me... but we are all new, so it is easy to make friends. I learned things I never knew. I enjoyed activities such as hockey and also the classes - music, humanities, geography or experiments in science.
Come here, you will find so many new friends from different countries and it will be the best summer of your life. Teachers here are amazing, so helpful and friendly and learning is really interesting and interactive. Here you can't speak your native language, so you use English all day long.
One of the best summer experiences I have had so far. I really liked the atmosphere, everyone is really ambitions and dedicated to do everything it takes to get university or course they wish to do in the future. I enjoyed the meeting with the doctor and the trip to the hospital. It is intriquing to see how the medical system is different in every country.
I really enjoyed studying in Cambridge, for I am planning maybe to study here. I like the city - it offers shopping, museum, university. As I want to study IB abroad, my aim was to study subjects, I do not have back at school: Environmental Systems and Societies, Economics, Psychology. I managed to see what I am better at and what is more interesting for me.
This is my 6th year at Academic Camp – this time I stayed in London. It is very good programme - studies combined with having a lot of fun. There are rules, but it is because they need you to keep safe, but there is enough freedom as well. You get to know London well.
I studied a selection of subjects including science, maths, humanities and art. I loved the trips, particularly the Bristol Science Museum and the activities – football and fencing. Fencing I watch in TV in Italy, but this was first time I was fencing myself. Watching it it feels simple, but doing it was much harder.
