This pathway will help you be successful in modern academic environments like A Levels, IB, Advanced Placement, foundation programmes or university study in English around the world. It builds academic confidence, English language skills, critical thinking and 21st century study skills using a CLIL approach and incorporates adventure, communication and leadership. It brings together our most popular subjects essay writing and presentation skills combining them with AI tools, critical thinking, creativity to prepare you for the future that is changing very fast.

Be a Leader is an integral part of Academic Summer, offering an enriching blend of the academic and leisure. The two-week course equips you with leadership and teamwork skills in an exciting, enjoyable and educational environment leading to a CPD qualification for your CV. CPD stands for Continuous Professional Development, showing our unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout the programme, you'll have the chance to Meet a Leader - accomplished individuals from diverse fields who share their personal journeys to success, inspiring your own dreams. Be a Leader facilitates self-discovery by assessing your skills, through psychometric, aptitude and career tests, resulting in a personalised ‘My Career Choice’ report to guide your future decisions. 

Our programme, places students aged 14‑17 right in the heart of London –  just minutes from landmarks such as the Tower of London, London Eye, The Big Ben, London Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Covent Garden, and the British Museum. But that's not all – explore Chinatown, Brick Lane, and St Paul's Cathedral, catch a West End Theatre Show, and shop to your heart's content at Harrods and Oxford Street.

On weekends, venture beyond London to explore Oxford, Cambridge, Greenwich, Hampton Court, Thorpe Park, Brighton end more.

Accommodation: DLD College is a purpose-built, modern boarding school.  Everything is under one roof, eliminating the need for commuting and ensuring your safety. Our campus features:
