We’re excited to announce that applications for Outward Bound Canada scholarships are open and we’ve added a new scholarship to our offerings.
The W. Brett Wilson Fund awards full scholarships to youth whose parents or guardians have served or are currently serving in the Canadian Forces. It’s an important complement to our Youth Access Fund and scholarships for Black youth, Indigenous youth, and youth who identify as People of Colour.
We’re proud to have funded nearly 70% of our participants in 2023. As the cost of living increases across Canada, we want to ensure that our life-changing programs are accessible to as many youth as possible. Thanks to our donor community, we can offer many young people the unique opportunity to experience some of Canada’s most pristine places while gaining important social-emotional skills to succeed in life.
We know that each applicant’s circumstances are unique. That’s why our financial aid and scholarship system is based on an assessment process that takes this into account.
Funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. So don’t wait too long!
