Plan now for an incredible creative experience for your child.
Ross Creek SummerArts, Teen Academy and Dance Summer Dance camps are a perfect combination of enrichment, skill development, creativity, and play — meeting the emotional and creative needs of children at all stages of their development. We offer programs in dance, theatre, music, art, and much more for students aged 4-18.
At Ross Creek we provide an amazing arts experience taught by professional artists and guided by our fabulous counsellors, both in our beautiful studios and in our outdoor classrooms on 178 acres of field and forest. Kids of all ages explore the world of making, or make-believe, drumming or dancing, making movies, or making monsters on paper.
Kids get outside each day, and we do everything to help them explore their creative side through new skills, new friends, and lots of fun.
We are opening our overnight registration to those who are within NS or who can show that they have self-isolated according to the public health guidelines of that period.
We had a fabulous, safe, and magical summer in 2020, based on over 25 years of experience running great summer arts programs. If you weren't with us before, you can check out our CAMP FAQ to find the answer to your questions. If you have any other questions - don't hesitate to reach out to us at 902-582-3842 or here.
2020 Credits
Please register now and if you have a credit from 2020, just note that in the family notes and we'll make sure we apply it.
Payment Plans
We also offer payment plans for families who would like to make camp fit into a monthly budget. We can't offer an early bird discount on payment plans, and have a small fee ($20) for setting up the plan because it takes administrative time. Click here to contact us by email and make payment arrangements.
Bursaries and Scholarships
While normally we work hard to offer full and partial bursaries and scholarships for students who need financial aid, in this year with incredibly limited space and a drastically reduced earned revenue stream, we are asking for help. If you are in a position to help a child get to camp, we want to keep camps accessible to all but can’t afford to reduce our income at all. You can email us here to support a child from our community and give them the gift of a fabulous summer.
Bursary applications require letters of reference, so please apply early. Bursary decisions are made by a committee and are based on a combination of need and merit. We regret that we cannot give full bursaries to all students, but try to assist as many children and families as we can through the generosity of corporations, businesses, individuals and some schools.
Fillable Bursary applications are available here.
The deadline for submissions May 15 for SummerArts Bursaries.
