Lori-Ann Jakel, the founder of Stand Up and Speak, is a published poet, author, and public speaker. Also a hands-on mother and a grandmother, Lori-Ann Jakel is a public speaking coach who motivates and trains future champions.

Jakel believes that the greatest soft skill a person can learn is the ability to communicate effectively. Considering that people at every stage in their lives require to speak and communicate with others but might be lacking the skills to get their points across, Jakel launched her own solo venture to help such people prepare for the future.

We recently got the chance to interview Lori-Ann Jakel and learn more about how to Stand Up and Speak is helping bring out a change in the lives of many individuals, from students to adults.
