40 hours of community service

Are you looking to complete your 40 hours of community service by doing something that will help to make a difference?

If so, this is the opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers for our Friday after school program.

Volunteer Opportunity:
Runs weekend and after school program for grades 1 to 10 students of Peel and Halton region. Program includes building basics in math, science and language and also has yoga, karate, public speaking, time-management, and other lifelong skill building sessions for students.

What you will do: Primarily assisting the teacher in classes; will also assist in regular office duties and events promoting the message in the community.

Skills required: Oral communication, punctuality, organization, following the instructions of class teacher. Skills you will learn: Teaching skills, communication skills, team work and collaboration, time management, problem solving, decision making and responsibility.
