Who are you as an organization?
North Toronto Soccer is located in the heart of Toronto, with our Summer Camp field at Eglinton Park. We offer a variety of pragrams from 4 years old to young adults, in Recreation, Development, Competitive & High Performance environment as well as a Special Olympics Program! NT Soccer’s mission is to make soccer a safe and dependable companion to children and youth in our community. We welcome all who want to play and bring our community together through the game of soccer. Our Vision: "As many as possible. For as long as possible. In the best environment possible." At NT Soccer we strive to find the best place for each child to develop and have fun in a safe place, inclusive to all. We look to remove barriers and get kids on the field!

What do you do differently or uniquely well?
"At North Toronto Soccer we strive to put players first, ensuring they are in the best environment for their development. That's why we offer different levels of programs, from Recreational to High Performance teams. Our Summer Camp is geared towards getting kids active, having fun and socializing with their new friends! We believe in a balance of structure and free play to give kids instruction to improve and the opportunity to explore and learn on their own.
Our range of programming allows us to direct players into an enivronment that's best suited for their development. If you're just looking to get started the Recreation Program is great for you! If we see you're looking for more of a challenge we'd recommend the Select or Development."Who are your staff and counsellors?
"Our Staff at North Toronto Soccer sets us apart from the rest! We are proud to employ some leading coaches in the Canadian Soccer Community and also many youth from our local community. This balance of experienced and young, eager staff leads to a unique experience throughout all our programs. The added knowledge from our full time staff creates strong foundations for our curricula, programs and session planning which is trickled down to the youngest ages.
We have many strong female role models in leadership position throughout the club, which is a direct product of our strong female program. Many players from our female program have moved onto coaching roles throughout the club.
Programs have a minimum of a 1:12 coach to player ratio."What do families need to know about registration?
"Registration is easy! Our Summer Camp, Academy and Recreation Programs are open to register. To register, create a profile on our PowerUp registration system to see what programs you're eligible to attend.
We're happy to help via email and info can be found on our website northtorontosoccer.com. Registration is available as long as the item is on the registration page.
Cancellation and refund details differ by program so please check specific program info page.
Our Select, Development & Advanced Development Programs require attendance to Open Development Sessions to ensure it's the best environment for players, which also allows families to see what they are signing up for.
Competitive and Talented Pathway programs require a tryout. "

The Our Kids review of North Toronto Soccer
Founded in 1980, the North Toronto Soccer Club has a long history of offering high level training, coaching, and instruction. There is attention to all levels of player, from entry to elite, and there’s an appropriate context of professionalism to it all. Players are coached to build skills, in turn developing as players as well as people. The intention is for participants to grow into a love of the sport, an appreciation of maintaining an active lifestyle, and to build confidence, self-respect, and to contribute effectively within a team environment. The club itself is a hub of the greater sporting community, giving participants a first-hand experience with the people and events that comprise it. That experience, in and of itself, can be transformational, allowing kids to access their potentials within a community that recognizes and appreciates them.

Our mission is to create a fun and safe learning environment where players, coaches and parents can play and mature through the game of soccer.
North Toronto Soccer club is dedicated to helping all our soccer players realize their sporting potential. All coaching is crafted to our players' specific levels of commitment and stages of development. It is our steadfast belief that young players who are encouraged to express their own natural ability, to trust in their technique and who are comfortable making mistakes will better reach their potential and develop a life-long love of the game. Lessons learned on the soccer pitch and training ground create good habits and life skills that will equip our young athletes for future success in any field.
