  • Insider Reviews & Perspectives

The Our Kids review of OMAC Martial Arts

    our take

Flexibility and a holistic approach to teaching are two standout characteristics of OMAC Martial Arts. They offer a diversity of martial arts training, available to any interest or at any skill level, at several locations throughout Peel and Halton, and as far west as Ancaster. Camps, afterschool, and other programs go beyond just martial arts, though, integrating fitness activities, field trips, and a focus on character development—notably resilience, respect for others, and leadership skills. Kids who’ve been trained here have a history of success in martial arts competitions. The brainchild of Grand Master H.C. Kim, a 9th dan black belt with over 50 years of experience with more than 20,000 students, OMAC is expert at developing kids’ enthusiasm for martial arts.

    Awesome crew at OMAC.

My kids attended summer camp here and they reluctantly came home each day :) They had a blast and we'll be back next year.

Kiddos have been in OMAC for years now and they still are so excited to attend the camps! They have us signing them up for March break and summer camps each year. They tell me after trying other camps that OMAC camp is the only one they want to do! They come home happy and excited to go back the next day. Love the added benefit of them learning more about self discipline, respect, and a healthy active lifestyle. The fact that it’s a very reasonably priced camp is a real bonus too! Shout out to Instructor Andrea, Master Ko and Master Ato, thank you for all you do to ensure the kids have an awesome camp experience ... Show More

    Great experience with OMAC!

My son attended summer camp and always spoke so positively and enthusiastically about his experiences that we ended up enrolling him for the after school program. The program is activity filled with stunts, day trips, and contests which keep children very engaged. Staff are encouraging and friendly and the centre itself is very well kept. Positive experience and would definitely recommend ... Show More
