Ottawa STEM summer camps and other programs explore the disciplines of science, technology, engineering, and math outside the classroom, in the looser, more fun setting of camp. Kids and teens typically engage in hands-on project-based learning, building, testing, experimenting, and solving problems.
Here’s a look at why they’re worth it:
STEM camps give kids and teens future-ready skills that range from coding, AI, and robotics to engineering, game design, and many other disciplines.
Kids and teens become more confident with technology, math, and science in a setting that feels more like play than school does. Some kids thrive much better in the freeform camp setting than they do in school.
Ottawa STEM camps and programs encourage a variety of character growth that may be unique to camp. Among the skills and traits that flourish in STEM camp, you can count creativity, curiosity, resilience, social skills, and more. Learn more about how camps encourage positive personal growth.
