Who are you as an organization?
This ultimate summer construction LEGO camp is a fun and creative learning experience for children. Kids will explore and experience a world without limits in our high-tech, interactive Robotics Camp that stimulates the imagination. Using the LEGO Robotic Systems, children will work to design, build and program/code robots to perform a number of tasks.

What kid doesn’t want to learn, explore, and discover using LEGO products? At Robotics Camp, campers use LEGO robotic systems to design, build, and program robots. They’ll learn various coding software programs, and work on challenging models. Creativity is the goal, along with learning, and having lots of fun. Friendships are easily made at Robotics Camp, with shared interests of LEGO, robots, and coding, being a main driver. The camp was started over 15 years ago by science and technology teacher Avelino Morais, who understood the potential of using building and programming as an educational tool that captured kids’ interest and imagination. This camp isn’t all indoors though, and there are outdoor activities to break up the time spent creating and bring back a fresh perspective. What’s unique about this program is that it isn’t structured, allowing for optimal creativity by the kids, who get to decide what to build and create, with guidance from the counselors, of course.

We encourage creativity by providing opportunities for campers to explore and discover using LEGO products as the driving force. The Robotics Camp introduces campers to computer concepts and programming software, such as computer block coding. We provide a safe and secure environment where campers feel confident, friends are made and positive experiences leave a long-lasting impression.
