The evolution of technology has brought with it an increased demand for energy. At the same time, our understanding of how we produce energy, and the consequences of different approaches has also increased. As a result, there is a rapidly growing demand for cleaner energy production methods, like nuclear energy!
Participants of this camp will discover different ways of creating energy and how nuclear energy is a key technology for carbon-free energy generation. Participants will further explore what it means to be sustainable in an ever-changing and growing world. They will be equipped with the knowledge to design solutions as they explore the natural world. Participants will also learn to look at the environment around them through the lens of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and the Engineering Design Process.
