This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of the Python programming language by completing fun coding challenges!
  • Interpersonal skills: Participants will have the opportunity to meet Ontario Tech University software engineering students and engineering industry professionals.

Python is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, used by scientists, engineers, hobbyists, and everyone in between! Participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of the Python programming language by completing fun coding challenges! This basic knowledge will prepare them for any future coding classes or coding languages they want to learn. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to meet Ontario Tech University software engineering students and engineering industry professionals. No coding experience is required!
