This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Courage: Through youth-led programming, Cub Scouts plan and lead their own activities. As a Pack, they tackle new challenges through exciting adventures in a safe environment; Cubs try new things and put their problem-solving into play, while taking their leadership skills and confidence to a new level.
  • Generosity: Leading a variety of fun adventures with friends, Cubs discover what they’re capable of and how it connects with the communities in which they live. From supporting friends to building their communities or conserving the planet, Cub Scouts understand we belong to a greater cause. ​​

Cub Scouts is a place to discover new things and embark on great adventures.

As a Pack, Cub Scouts plan adventures like hikes, weekend camps and water activities (like canoeing and kayaking), discovering their unique capabilities and personal progression along the way.

In Cub Scouts youth can sleep beneath the stars, hike with gear on their backs, eat gooey marshmallows on a stick or see an otter splashing in a stream just a few feet away.
