Scouts Canada offers summer camps across the country, open to all youth, whether Scouts Canada members or not. Our programs provide youth aged 5–16+ with opportunities to engage in outdoor activities, skills development, and leadership training. We offer youth a Scouting experience in a safe, inclusive environment, where they build confidence, teamwork, and lasting memories.
Scouts Canada summer camps welcome all youth, whether part of Scouting or not, to experience dynamic outdoor adventures that foster personal growth, confidence, and resilience. Guided by Scouting values of teamwork, self-reliance, and environmental stewardship, our programs provide hands-on experiences like canoeing, campfire cooking, and leadership development in a safe, inclusive environment. Parents choose us because we inspire a sense of belonging, encourage youth to embrace challenges, and create lifelong memories and skills for every camper, regardless of their background

Kids lead the way at Scouts Canada. It is almost a choose your own adventure-type atmosphere. The activities are youth-led, with adults just there to supervise and guide. Scouting is said to shape lives in a positive way, where kids can disconnect from the “real world” and reconnect with themselves, their communities, themselves, and their peers. The skills learned at Scouts help prepare young people for the future, with leadership and independence being developed in everything they do. Scouts Canada believes kids are capable of anything if they are given the right opportunities. Safety is a first priority and Scouts has developed very comprehensive policies over their many years, to ensure kids don’t get hurt. Volunteers are often pillars of their community, people who love working with kids and are former Scouts themselves. What’s unique about Scouts is that it is like its own respected community, except everyone is welcome.
Scouts Canada summer camps exist to provide the transformational power of the Scouting program into a summer adventure. Whether you have been in the program or this is your first time, this adventure is for everyone.
My hope for everyone that attends one of our summer camp programs is that they walk away with new skills, new friends, a stronger sense of confidence and self, and memories that will last them a life time.
