Music, Sound & Creative Expression Summer Camp

SLI's Music & Sound Summer Camp provides students with the opportunity to strengthen academic skills while exploring music, sound, creativity, listening, and self-expression in a supportive full-day summer camp environment.

Each morning, campers participate in mathematics reinforcement and enrichment, English language arts development, and age-appropriate exploration of music, rhythm, listening, and creative expression. Activities are designed to encourage creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and confidence.

Students have opportunities to explore different musical styles, develop listening and interpretation skills, investigate how music and sound communicate ideas and emotions, and participate in creative experiences appropriate to their age group, interests, and experience level. Depending on age, readiness, and interests, activities may incorporate a combination of hands-on, digital, and technology-based experiences.

Afternoon programming focuses on sound, creativity, experimentation, and creative exploration through engaging learning experiences designed to promote curiosity, self-expression, collaboration, and innovation. Students may participate in a variety of hands-on, digital, and creative experiences appropriate to their age group and abilities.

In addition to academic and enrichment programming, students enjoy a balanced summer camp experience that includes themed activities, creative projects, team-building experiences, indoor and outdoor games, recreation, and social interaction.

Our program is designed to support a wide range of learners through differentiated activities, small group instruction, and individualized support provided by experienced educators.
