COVID-19 Response
St. Michaels University School (SMUS) has decided on a plan for camps which we believe are safe to deliver and supports campers, parents, and staff, in line with public policy directives.
The decision to run our camps was informed by a wide variety of sources and weighed the benefits of camps in supporting the mental and physical health of youth.
Camps provide a tailor-made solution to the mental and physical health challenges associated with social isolation. There are few better ways to connect with friends, fellow campers and others than through the shared camp experience. It is well known that camps for young people can help decrease anxiety, increase efficacy and improve connection with peers and with schools – all valuable outcomes as we re-integrate campers into schools and the wider community.

Dear Families and Campers,
It is my pleasure to introduce to you SMUS Camps. We offer a variety of programs throughout the year, including Overnight Camps, Day Camps and summer Applied Skills for Teens programs.
Our hands-on, skill-based programs offer learners the opportunity to Learn, Discover, and Create in a safe, engaging and fun environment. At the core of every program at SMUS Camps is the emotional, mental and physical safety of our learners.
Our goal is to provide summer experiences that are fun, welcoming and challenging for youth of all ages.
