Explore a major, discover a career path, and enjoy life on a college campus for two weeks. Meet peers with similar interests and get a taste of life on a top university campus in the United States--or abroad in Europe and Asia. Bring your knowledge in a chosen field to the next level with inspiring instructors. Weekend excursions and group activities round out the experience.

What do you do differently or uniquely well?

"Summer Springboard is a camp for teens who are passionate about a subject and want to advance their studies, knowledge and experience during the summer, while meeting new kids and networking with experts in their field. Most campuses are in urban areas, and do not offer a traditional cabins-on-a-lake experience; however, there is plenty of camp fun to be had during structured evening activities, weekend excursions and downtime.

    "

Who are your staff and counsellors?

"Our RAs (Resident Assistants) are typically college students; they are CPR/First Aid certified and have experience working with teenagers--they come from all walks of life, from all around the USA. Our instructors are -- past lecturers have included ER doctors, a retired Chief of Police, Ivy League professors, researchers, Ph.D students, and the like. "

    Lasting Impact on Everyday Life

Honestly, everything: the RAs, the trips, the teachers, the campus. It was all amazing to me. I was a part of the emergency medicine track, and I've found myself using the different skill I learned even in different subjects back at school this fall. I've used suture knots in my art and bio classes. I've gotten to help other people make basic decisions if something hurts based off what I learned. It was a really valuable experience. I also made a lot of amazing friends, and still talk to them to this day. ... Show More

    Hands On & Impactful

The medicine course allowed me to pursue more knowledge about what I love and want to do for the rest of my life. Through the hands-on activities I could feel like a real doctor. I met amazing people here, those 12 days will be forever in my heart ... Show More

She tells everyone about her time at Summer Springboard, which tells us that it really was something that meant so much to her ... Show More
