The Money Club.Org, a Toronto nonprofit build week where ages 10-13 learn design, money, and AI by making something real.
Five days. Small teams. Students identify a problem, design a response, build a simple product and website, work through the numbers, and test whether the idea holds up in the real world.
•Students design a product around a problem they care about
•They use AI to research, build, and work out costs, prices, and margins
•They test the idea with real people, learn from the result, and improve it
The Money Club.Org is a nonprofit with open-book finances. Tuition goes toward the venue, operations, instruction, and the student build experience. Families can review the working operating budget and see how the model is funded.

These distinctive summer camps in Toronto are ideally targeted at awakening and developing teens’ financial awareness, taught at their level, through a hands-on four-week project. Held on campus at U of T, at the UTSU Student Commons, it’s also an ideal introduction to the university setting. Designed for kids ages 11–16, this instructor-led camp blends financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and design thinking. Students work in teams to design a product or service, research potential users, explore pricing and costs, and test how their ideas could succeed. Over the course of the camp, they refine their idea, improving product design and preparing for a final showcase where they present what they built and explain why it works. They learn practical concepts like wages, expenses, margins, and how businesses sustain themselves, but they also acquire skills in collaboration, presentation, and critical thinking.
The Money Club.Org is a founder run program designed by Jared Goldberg — a product strategist, systems designer, and educator with 15+ years building and operating real-world business platforms.
Jared has worked across Walmart, Loblaw, and Canadian Tire, and spent over a decade inside China-based manufacturing ecosystems, where cost, quality, incentives, and execution collide in real time. His work sits at the intersection of economics, incentives, design thinking, and human behavior.
This program reflects Jared Goldberg’s broader work on systems, incentives, education, AI, media, compounding, and civic infrastructure.
