Your child will gain important life skills including self-discipline, perseverance, self-confidence and goal-setting through their music instruction at The Music Studio that will prepare them to succeed in life. Your child also has ongoing performance opportunities at The Music Studio where they will be the star of the show while entertaining family and friends, and further developing their musical, life and social skills. The Music Studio is also proud of our Connecting Through Music Program for individuals with special needs that is taught by teachers with specialized training.

The Music Studio offers you an easy, personalized and friendly registration process. Your registration is managed promptly and efficiently by Tracie or Ed who are available to answer all of your questions regarding The Music Studio’s programs. If you are unsure about which program is right for your child, they are always happy to help you choose. Your child is welcome to have a free, trial lesson or class to ensure that your child’s music instruction at The Music Studio starts on the right note. OUR KIDS review of The Music Studio
The Music Studio has been teaching children and adults for over 30 years. With an equal focus on a broad range of musical styles, students can participate in one or more of many structured programs. Music in Motion is for the youngest learners, which introduces kids to the theory of music in a fun and stimulating way. Lessons are offered in-person and online, and most instruments are available to be taught. What’s unique about The Music Studio is their range of specific programs that allow everyone the opportunity to learn music, not just those who already have the skills and talent. Their innovative Connecting Through Music program allows students with special needs to learn life skills through music. Another truly original program is the research-based Seniors Connecting Through Music program, which helps improve well-being for older students. There’s so much more than traditional lessons at The Music Studio: students can participate in bands, theatre, songwriting, and live performances. Owner Ed Lettner is a repository of music information, so there’s so much students can learn from him and his staff of highly-qualified and professionally-trained teachers.

Director's Message
Welcome to The Music Studio. Since 1990, we have offered Music Lessons You'll Love for children in the community. Our in-person and online instruction gives you the best of both worlds. Choose from our fun and results-oriented private vocal and instrumental lessons; rock, pop and jazz bands; early childhood music classes for children 2-5 years of age; songwriting lessons and The Music Studio's fun and educational summer camps. The Music Studio’s unique Kidzrock band classes introduce children 4-7 years of age to music by playing in a rock band. The Music Studio’s Connecting Through Music program helps children with special needs learn life skills through music. The Music Studio's professionally trained teachers are dedicated to providing each student with a personalized and nurturing in-person or online learning environment that also helps your child develop important life skills including perseverance, self-discipline and time management. Virtual and live performance opportunities for students are available year-round. Discover all that The Music Studio has to offer your family. Staff and Counsellors
The Music Studio’s teaching staff are graduates of respected university and college music programs and have extensive teaching and performance experience. They bring their training, diverse musical backgrounds, and passion for music and teaching to each lesson, class and camp they teach. Our teachers’ goal is to engage their students while nurturing their students’ development and love of music. The focus of The Music Studio is music education so every decision we make has the education of our students at its heart.
