This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Through learning a musical instrument, your child will have the tools and skills to compose their own music, explore their own creative potential, become confident in their own knowledge and apply what they have learned in music lessons as unique problem-solving techniques in other areas of their li
  • Physicality: Through music day camp, children get the opportunity to learn and move their bodies in ways that they don't normally get to at school and home.

Camp at Willowdale School of Music is full of crafts, games, outdoor time, learning about music, and of course, making music. Kids love camp at WSM! Your child will meet each of the instruments we offer at WSM, learn about them, make some music on them, make their own instruments, write music and lots more! Campers do not need to know anything about music to join WSM camps, they’re tailored to introduce music to kids who have never met a musical instrument and to strengthen the musical knowledge of kids who already know lots about music. If your child wants to learn more about our instruments, sign them up for private music lessons after camp! We can't wait to meet you!
