Baby Music Classes (0-1.5 years)

It's important to start kids off strong and early! Start your little one's life off on the right foot with Early Childhood Music classes at WSM. Each class is filled with age-appropriate music, singing, play, dancing, music-making for you and your child plus lots more.

Our Baby & Toddler Music teachers are trained to work with children and it is their passion to introduce little ones to the joys of music.

What you will learn:

• Babies (age 0 - 12m)
  • You and your baby will dance, sing and move to the music in this class. Scarves, shakers, drums and other age-appropriate instruments are used to introduce babies to rhythm and music. Your teacher will use the piano, ukulele and sing songs to get the music flowing. At the end of the term, you and your baby will have a repertoire of songs you can sing together and you will feel more comfortable making music together at home.
• Toddlers (age 12- 36m)
  • Toddlers will be introduced to more rhythm and melody to further their musical knowledge. Shakers, drums and other age-appropriate instruments will be used to get toddlers making their own music. The piano, ukulele and singing will also be introduced to help facilitate learning songs. At the end of the term, your toddler will have a firm grasp on inner rhythm and you will have both skills and songs to sing and exercise at home.
• Toddlers & Tots (age 8-36m)
  • Toddlers and tots are introduced to music and rhythm together through movement, live music and making music themselves. Shakers, drums and other age-appropriate instruments will be introduced as well as the piano, ukulele and singing to facilitate learning songs. At the end of the term, your child will have a firm grasp on inner rhythm and melody, and you will have both skills and songs to sing and exercise at home.
