Acres of Fun camp, at WindReach Farm near Ashburn, invites children ages 6‑13 to explore life in the country, grow, and learn in a supportive rural environment. From horse grooming and hay‑wagon rides to geocaching, gardening and arts & crafts, the camp encourages curiosity, fun, and personal growth in the great outdoors. The camp was founded by the inspiring Sandy Mitchell, who overcame cerebral palsy to become a Paralympian and start WindReach Farm in the 1980s. Acres of Fun reflects Sandy’s perseverance and his commitment to community and hands-on learning, now led by Ross Ste-Croix and a staff of enthusiastic educators and leaders. Kids feel supported and cared for at this inspiring rural camp experience.
