U18 - Day - Summer Academy Basketball Camp

Orangeville Prep's 2022 Summer Basketball Academy will offer 6 weeks of the highest-level basketball education and training, taught by elite coaches at the world-renowned Athlete Institute in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. 

You will not only learn how to improve your game on the court with our elite coaches but also off the court. Overall you will learn the following:

- Individual ball handling and shooting skills- How to review and assess video 

- Strength & conditioning program specific to basketball

- How to be a resilient leader &

- How to approach academics, prep basketball, and post-secondary education

- Strength & conditioning program specific to basketball

- Leadership & resiliency skill training

- How to approach academics, prep basketball, and post-secondary education (NCAA & USPORTS)

- Not everything can be about basketball so we conduct off-campus field trips to beautiful provincial parks (e.g., Mono Cliffs, Hockley Valley, Forks of the Credit River for hiking and swimming and other outdoor recreational activities) 

Typical Day Academy Daily Schedule

8:30 - 9:00 am - Warm Up & Stretch

9:00 - 10:30 am - Individual Skill Drills with Competition (with water break)

10:30 - Noon - Group Skill Session with Competition or Video Review Session (with water break)

Noon - 1:00 pm - Lunch

1:00 - 2:30 pm - Individual Skill Drills (with water break)

2:45 - 4:00 pm - Group Skills Session or Off-Campus Trip

4:00 - 4:30 pm - Pick-Up
