This camp is designed to build the following character traits:
Independence: Campers have the opportunity to make choices as to how they spend their day - choosing their instruction activities, how they spend their free swim and whether they go on a canoe trip or not.
Courage: Campers are encouraged to take on new challenges, to set out on a canoe trip, even though they have never had such an experience.
This session takes place during of the second half of each 26-day session. During the 12 days, boys will have the opportunity to participate in one week of instructional activities; be able to choose to go on a 3-day canoe trip (for 10 years and up); and to participate in end of session activities – primal or voyageur games, canoe races, the banquet and a final council ring.
