This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Creativity: Through the creation of an original performance, participants develop their creative potential and explore diverse modes of artistic expression. Campers are challenged to discover innovative and imaginative ways to respond to the world around them.
Interpersonal skills: Rooted in the spirit of co-creation, campers strengthen and develop their communication, teamwork and collaborative skills. Throughout the program, campers are given the autonomy to take on new challenges and support each other's learning and discovery within the creative process.

COC Summer Music Camp

JULY 6 – 31, 2026

COC Summer Music Camp invites young creatives entering grades 1 to 9 to learn about composition, drama, and design. Campers are supported in a creative and non-competitive environment where they will learn and experiment with diverse modes of artistic expression such as singing, composing, movement, drama, and design. Through the creation of their own original performance, campers will work with professional teaching artists to hone creative skill and explore various areas of the performing arts, culminating in a final showcase for family and friends. No previous experience with music required.
