This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Our summer camp helps kids build independence by learning practical kitchen skills like measuring, following recipes, and preparing both sweet and savory dishes. These hands-on experiences boost confidence and self-reliance.
Creativity: Cooking and baking spark creativity, encouraging kids to experiment with flavors, colors, and ingredients while making unique dishes they’ll be proud to share.

Location: Clarkson, Port Credit, Bronte Creek

8 weeks, Mondays - Fridays, July - August

Amazing day camp experience that teaches practical life skills of cooking and baking, encourages creativity, communication skills, stimulates curiosity, raises awareness of social justice issues and empowerment plus lots of active outdoor time and more!

Weekly themes help bring new excitement, different recipes, science and art projects every week!

Our program is designed by a team of teachers and community members, and will include each week:

Cooking lunch and making & baking snacks

Creating fun art projects for the weekly theme

Discovery science and design projects

Super fun drama games

Outdoor sports and local hikes

Local Indigenous cultural awareness activities

Community issue awareness and empowerment

Lunch and snacks included, mainly vegetarian menu with lots of fruit & veggies options and cheese. All food allergies and dietary issues accommodated. Nut-free
