Who are you as an organization?
With more nature than any other city of its size in the world, Toronto offers children an ideal environment to uncover the wilderness that lies beneath the urban landscape. Through outdoor experiential play, Evergreen campers and participants explore a range of fun programming, develop a new relationship with the natural world and are inspired to be environmental stewards.

All campers are highly recommended to wear non-medical masks in all indoor spaces, including washrooms. Covered outdoor spaces will be prioritized for eating, however, eating may occur indoors due to inclement weather. If a camper falls ill while at camp, they will be placed in an isolated indoor or outdoor area with a camp staff. Caregivers will be contacted to pick up their camper immediately. The caregiver will be asked to take the child to a COVID-19 assessment center to be tested. If a negative result is confirmed the child will be allowed to return to camp, once symptoms have resolved for 24 hours.

Claire Christie , Program Manager & Camp Director
Hi There!
My name is Claire Christie (nature name is Gaia). I am a long-time camper who grew up attending camp every summer and I have worked at a number of camp and outdoor education centres over the last 10 years.
Spending time outside, playing, hiking and exploring are some of my fondest childhood memories. It was through those moments that I was able to learn more about who I was, who I wanted to be and create long lasting friendships. I am so grateful that I and the Evergreen camp staff, are able to play a role in fostering those memories and moments for the campers throughout the year!
I look forward to connecting and getting to know campers and camp families each year and we hope to see down at the Brickworks!
Happy Trails!
Claire Christie aka Gaia (she/her)
