Who are you as an organization?
An exciting combination of learning and FUN! Each week offers engaging programming through interactive and curriculum-focused Brain-Boost lessons, art activities, team-building games ... and MORE! The Brain Boost portion of the day is taught by certified teachers with a focus on the development of foundational literacy and numeracy skills. Make some awesome memories at GlenOak!

"At GlenOak Academy, we have a great mix of Ontario Certified Teachers, passionate summer students, and eager volunteers that work together to make the GlenOak summer camp a warm, energetic, professional, and well-qualified team."
What do families need to know about registration?
"Our six-week summer camp program is in high demand, so we suggest registering early. Official registration opens in early February. This year, registration and payment will be coordinated through a registration and payment provider. Late registration fees apply to those registering May 1st onward. Questions "

The Our Kids review of GlenOak Academy Summer Camp
There’s so much to love about GlenOak Academy Summer Camp. Everything they do is with heart and positivity in mind. They’ve developed this camp to ensure kids make new friends, have a great time, and want to come back year after year. All of the staff are certified teachers, so you know kids will get a quality experience with some educational aspects thrown into the fun. They have daily curriculum-based language and math activities, but they are hands-on and engaging, as no kids want to spend their summers doing homework. This is an easy way to ensure kids aren’t behind when they return to school in September, but don’t tell the kids that. What kids love the most about GlenOak Academy summer camp is the staff and volunteers. Everyone is on a first-name or nickname basis and it’s like a little community. The memories made at this camp will be in campers' minds for a long time.

OCT, B.Ed., B.A. (Hons)Welcome to the GlenOak Academy Summer Camp!
I'm delighted to announce that we will once again be offering the GlenOak Academy Summer Camp for 2024! This year we're offering a new location and more camp spots!
GlenOak Summer Camp has an incredible team of teachers, counsellors, and volunteers who are all eagerly awaiting the summer months so they can welcome back returning families and introduce new families to our awesome programming. Led by our experienced Camp Coordinators, Haylee Myers-Inrig and Morgan Smith, our summer camp will be at a new location in the same neighbourhood, and it will include the same great programming, activities, and energy you've come to expect from us!
Our daily curriculum-based Language and Math activities are taught by experienced, certified teachers, with a focus on the incorporation of meaningful, hands-on, and engaging lessons. But at GlenOak, we know learning and fun comes in all shapes and sizes! Each day, campers will also create an amazing art project and take-part in group games that emphasize team-building, creativity, social skills development ... and F-U-N! As always, each week is complete with its own theme.
Whether it's your first year or you're a seasoned GlenOak camper, we look forward to another successful and inspiring camp season. We couldn't do it without you!
