This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: As an arts organization, NPCC provides a space where creative curiosity is encouraged and participants get to experience the benefits of trying new ideas and techniques in the artwork they create.
  • Interpersonal skills: Through shared creative experiences, students learn to express their ideas, listen to others, and provide constructive feedback. Collaborative projects promote teamwork, encourage students to work together.

Each family member gets to make a little face plate out of clay! Shape and form a likeness of you or each other and take your customized creation home! Once it’s dry, paint it or finish it with a clear medium as you like, and hang it up as a decoration. Each participant will receive enough clay to create a 5″ diameter face as well as a hanging bracket to imbed into the back of their project for easy wall display. Enjoy making faces together! All materials are included.
