Our camps are a creative learning environment where participants are encouraged to explore and enrich their lives through the arts. Each week, campers test new projects and mediums inspired by themes and popular techniques. NPCC is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and positive environment. The Our Kids review of Neilson Park Creative Centre
Neilson Park Creative Centre was founded as a centre for the arts, one that could supply spaces for a range of users, from professional artists to those seeking to try something new. It provides a hub for people to come together around the arts, and the summer camps are an important part of that environment. When kids arrive to the camps, they enter a place that includes them, though which they understand is for lots of other people too. They engage in active programs with peers and mentors, though they also see so many others doing the same thing, and the cross-pollination of it all is one of the things that makes the offering so unique and valuable. Kids will learn new things, and have fun, while being afforded a wider view of what it means to be involved in the arts.

Birthday parties at Neilson Park Creative Centre are always a blast! Parties are available for children between the ages of 5 to 12 who want to have a fun evening of art-making. Each birthday party is hosted in our beautiful studios with plenty of space and natural light. Guests are led through an art activity of your choosing by one of our superstar instructors! Each participant gets to bring their unique work home with them! All materials are included. Whether you’re planning a workshop, meeting, or special event, consider renting studio space here at Neilson Park Creative Centre! We have four sunny studios available for rent in the peace and quiet of Neilson Park’s beautiful green fields and forested walkways. Our facility is top of the line for artistic endeavours and a unique and inspiring space for all! Neilson Park Creative Centre has two large galleries that are available for rental. Artspace Connect is a spacious room with 120 feet of wall hanging space. The Parkview Gallery has 86 feet of running space and is a wide hallway that connects from the entrance to the atrium. Both gallery spaces are equipped with natural lighting and spot lights. Our gallery spaces welcome artwork from individual artists, artist collectives, independent curators and other organization. M.F.A. Indiana State University; B.F.A. York University, TorontoWelcome to Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC) in Central Etobicoke. We are located in the heart of Neilson Park adjacent to the Etobicoke Creek and Ravine, with resident coyotes, deer, rabbits and bugs living in the nearby woods!
Since 1993, we’ve been providing quality and affordable art education to our community. We believe that all children should benefit from the arts so that they can expand their ability to interact with the world around them using creative communication as tools for self-expression.
We offer year-round visual art programming during weeknights and weekends and, in the summer, week-long daytime camps. Our programs encourage the growth of creative problem-solving skills, independence and confidence, all the while encouraging children to interact with each other in a beautiful, studio setting.
Inside NPCC, kids get to explore our exhibitions in our gallery spaces. Outside, kids have the chance to be inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us, or blow off steam in our park playground!
