Minecraft and UNESCO are calling on students to join the Peace with Nature challenge, and we were thrilled when FocusOnline's Ms. Sarah Elliott said she could help guide students through this challenge, and ultimately, to create a better future for all! The course has been a huge success so far, as students have been participating in small teams according to age group (8-10, 11-13, 14-18) to design and build sustainable solutions that will let humans live in harmony with nature in the custom-built “Peace with Nature” world. With the creative minds of the students led by the expertise of a Minecraft Mentor, Ms. Sarah Elliott, it seems the possibilities are endless!
To say Sarah Elliott is a Minecraft expert would be an understatement. Sarah Elliott has been an educator at the Royal Ontario Museum for 20 years and, more recently, has been a lead developer on the museum's Minecraft virtual visitor program. We have been fortunate enough to have Ms. Elliott on our team conducting a wide variety of Minecraft Education Edition courses over the past 3 years. That is why we know these students are in great hands and we have full faith that Ms. Sarah Elliott and her teams will rise to this challenge! We cannot wait to see what they come up with!
Stay tuned for updates!
