Today Safer Cycling Calgary announces that the 2021 course calendar is now available! Courses listed are not yet available for registration, and additional courses will be added.
The season launches in April with a combined Intermediate & Advanced (Intermediate participants attend first 2 sessions, Advanced attend all 3), unless weather cooperates to allow for First Time courses to start earlier. First Time (adult and child) and Intermediate Kids courses are scheduled to start in May.
Summer day camps begin in July and may extend through August with sufficient interest. Additional First Time courses as well as Beginner will be scheduled in July and August.
Owner Melissa is extremely proud to have been part of the cycling journey of so many people. She recently tallied her impact at over 300 people directly taught how to ride, with an additional 200+ attempts, as well as over 100 on-road participants. Her hope is to grow Safer Cycling Calgary to be able to deliver courses in schools and at more locations throughout Calgary.
