Looking to level up your Python coding skills? This virtual camp is designed for participants with some prior Python experience who are ready to take the next step—building on the foundational concepts introduced in Python Playground (Beginner), including Input/Output, Data Types, Errors, Loops, and Conditionals. If you’ve worked with these skills before, you’ll be well-positioned to succeed, even if you didn’t join us for the Beginner camp.
Throughout the week, campers dive deeper into Python by exploring arrays, functions, libraries, graphics, and animations. They’ll apply these skills to hands-on design projects that encourage creativity and problem-solving through code. Along the way, participants will strengthen their understanding of how computer scientists and software engineers use the Engineering Design Process to develop solutions and make a positive impact.
As the week progresses, campers continue to expand their Python toolbox with more advanced concepts and practical programs that put them into action. They also gain valuable experience with problem-solving and debugging, preparing them to tackle increasingly complex programming challenges long after the virtual camp ends.
This program features the same content as the Summer 2025 Learning to Code – Intermediate Python camp.
