Explore the world of coding and engineering with everyone’s favourite building kit, LEGO! Powered by the LEGO SPIKE Essential set, students will build unique LEGO structures and program them to light up, make sounds, and move!
LEGO Robotics (Gr. 3-4) is an introductory course for students to develop their engineering, design, and programming skills. They will be using tools such as the LEGO Essential Kit and the LEGO Education SPIKE app to design, build and modify a variety of projects designed to solve real-life problems. Students will learn about electricity and energy transfer concepts, develop problem solving skills through iterative design, and drag-and-drop coding skills to power and control their projects. Students will explore the possibilities of engineering by expanding their knowledge of LEGO brick structures to include the use of motors, gears, and sensors!
