Medics Camp- Discover Theme L2

Scrub in and get ready to discover the amazing world of health and the human body!
In our DISCOVER MED program theme, campers explore how the body works and learn how real doctors and healthcare professionals help us stay healthy. From germs and staying well to bones, blood, and breathing, kids dive into exciting medical science topics through fun, hands-on activities every day as part of our STEM-accredited program, ranked in the top 10% worldwide by industry leader STEM.org in 2025.

Campers will learn how to stop the spread of germs, practice proper handwashing, and discover how the heart and lungs keep us alive. They’ll check their pulse, listen to their heartbeat with a stethoscope, and play doctor and patient using real medical equipment. They’ll learn the names of major bones, look at real x-rays, and explore what happens when someone breaks a bone. Campers step into the roles of doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and more while building important STEM and first aid skills.

Each day brings new discoveries, like seeing a real pig heart up close, learning basic first aid skills and practicing simple CPR techniques. Through interactive, age-appropriate activities, Discover Med campers build confidence, curiosity, and compassion for others while exploring the exciting world of healthcare.
