VAM Kids Summer Art Camp

Each summer our campers make new friends, exercise their imagination and enjoy time outdoors on the VAM lawn. Each week is themed and designed to offer a unique array of arts and crafts to appeal to all ages groups. The cost of camp registration includes all materials, a camp t-shirt art smock, a weekly Special Guest (Reptilia & Magic Mel) and a pizza lunch on Friday!

• Summer Camp runs from 9:00am – 4:30pm (with extended care options available) daily with a rotation of 3 week long themes
• Each day offers an outdoor morning and afternoon recess on the VAM lawn, plus a one hour lunch break
• Fridays offer a change in routine with a special guest and pizza lunch Friday
• 16 children per camp group by age

Theme 1: In the Garden
From trees and bumblebees to frogs on logs, explore and delve into the natural world! This week, campers will create art inspired by garden creatures big and small. Perfect for campers who love plants, animals and nature.

Theme 2: Food Frenzy
Giant hamburgers, painted pies and Warhol’s signature soup cans. Throughout history, artists have been inspired by food! This week, bring your appetite for art and be inspired by all things yummy! Perfect for campers who love to dabble in culinary craft creations.

Theme 2: The Artist's Toolbox
Art is everywhere! This week, campers will be inspired by the colours, textures and patterns of the world around them while discovering new artist tools and techniques. Perfect for the campers who want to develop and master their artistic skills.
