Viz Tutoring is a new Ontario-based online tutoring platform for students in kindergarten to grade 12. We connect learners with qualified tutors for one-on-one support in all major subjects. Families can book single, ongoing, or on-demand sessions through our seamless virtual platform. Lessons take place in a live video space with a collaborative whiteboard, chat, and interactive tools that help students learn with clarity and confidence.

Registration Details
Registration is simple and fully online. Families create an account, share their child’s grade and subject needs, and our platform recommends a tutor match based on availability and learning goals. Sessions are booked using tokens and can be scheduled in advance or requested on demand when support is needed. There is no application process or waitlist.

OUR KIDS review of Viz Tutoring
Viz’s mission is to open up tutoring to a wider range of learners through high-quality academic support available anytime, anywhere, online. The company is rooted in Cara Yanowski’s drive to help every learner succeed and get confident. While her caring nature is evident in her tutoring, it also comes out in her rigorous staff selection and training. The platform’s collaborative whiteboard, chat, and video make sessions interactive and dynamic. Subjects range from reading, writing, and math, to ESL, French, and Spanish languages, to high-school calculus and physics, to coding, and even drama. It’s all centered on kids’ needs first, with a matching system that considers grade level, subject, learning style, and personal preferences, connecting each learner with a compatible tutor. Viz aims to help students improve academically, certainly, but ultimately to ensure they feel supported and understood.

Director's Message
For as long as I can remember, I have believed that education has the power to open doors, shift futures, and help young people understand what they are capable of. With a Master of Education, experience as a classroom teacher, and many years spent tutoring, I have seen students thrive when they are given support that truly reflects who they are and how they learn. Viz Tutoring was born from the belief that every learner deserves support that meets them where they are and expands what traditional tutoring has offered in the past.
I created Viz so families could access trusted, high-quality academic support in a way that fits real life. Whether a student needs steady encouragement, enrichment beyond the curriculum, or a boost before a challenging unit, learning should be something they can approach with confidence rather than stress. Our flexible scheduling, on-demand sessions, and careful tutor selection are all designed to make that possible.
My mission is to reach as many students as I can, to help them discover their strengths and feel proud of their progress. Thank you for considering Viz as a partner in your child’s learning journey.

Our tutors are hand-selected through an interview and background check process. They bring strong subject knowledge, patience, and a talent for explaining concepts in a way students understand. Tutors are placed into Levels 1 to 5 based on their education and experience, giving families options to choose the level of expertise and rate that works for them. We welcome educators from diverse academic paths who care deeply about helping students succeed.
