This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Physicality: Focussing on recreational fun, and building/learning new outdoor skills.
  • Curiosity: From learning about ecology, to new skills like crafting, and physical activities like skiing, there's something to learn and try for the first time - for everyone!

A great chance for multiple generations to come together and enjoy a weekend retreat in the great outdoors of the Haliburton Highlands. Enjoy the warmth of a new spring while being active on the waters of Koshlong Lake in a canoe or kayak, climbing our ropes course, or exploring our extensive trail system. YMCA Wanakita's spring family weekend provides an ideal mix of activity, adventure to challenge for your family
