This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Independence: Campers thrive under the structured freedom offered at Can-Aqua. We give campers responsibility to be in control, which translates into the development of independance.
Tolerance: At Can-Aqua, campers learn to be patient, supportive and empathetic. Campers are forced to compromise daily and begin to understand how their needs are one of many within the community.

Camp Can-Aqua offers four 2-week sessions during the summer months. These traditional camp programs offer kids the opportunity to "choose their own adventure", picking their activities each evening before the next day.

Programs are divided between recreational and instructional in focus. This allows for us to provide effective and valuable instruction, while still permitting opportunities for programs that are silly and fun.

This is a norm at camp and a great program for kids ages 6-16.
